My son is 6. He and I have an Allis Chalmers C that we drive together.It doesnt steer too hard and it has seperate clutch and brake pedals for him to learn with. It is pretty stable,but the part I like is the two person seat.The older B and C models had an extra wide seat.The only thing I changed on the tractor was to put a key switch in the ignition circuit.The key stays on my keyring which I always carry,so he (or his Mom) cannot start or move the tractor when I am gone. I hope this helps.
