JD 272 3pt finishing mower - parts needed

I've got a JD 272 finishing mower with a bad bevel gear in the gearcase. This part is no longer available through JD. I'm looking for a replacement gearbox or a salvage gearbox (working or not), or if anyone knows of a source for salvage implements, I'd appreciate an email.
