Mark, I have to agree w/Ray's comments. Land seems to be one of the most solid investments. Yes, it may be a long term investment, (depends where ya purchase) but thats what they say about the stock/mkt too. Im into my 5th home, and they all have been $ makers, some more than others. I must admit though I do plan on retiring in this critter, maybe selling it. The city is spredding out my way. Mark, think of it this way, the more LAND ya own the more TRACTORS ya need. Thats all folks!!!!. Steve

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
