We used to have one on a narrow-front H, and it caused no problems. It will put more strain on the steering and front wheel bearings. We used it to clean out barns, and general lifting chores. Back when we handled ear-corn, we used it to lift the fronts of wagons to dump them into the elevator. If you are handling heavy loads, keep them low for safety, as the H is not a really heavy tractor. 6.00x16 tires on the front will make it steer a little easier.
