this group controls the price of diamonds like terrorists with guns. they allow only x number to be sold worldwide, even though x3 could sell. it keeps the diamond industry rich, and jewlers happy.
Fact is they are not that rare. Saw a show a few yrs ago, the Soviet Union has a warehouse thats like 4 city blocks, and 5 floors full of shelves full of diamonds. controlling the crop controls the price. Farmers could do this too.
