I have never owned a Kubota, but they sell them at the dealership I work at. I don't consider myself too biased, as I own farmalls, IH's, and a John Deere. As far as I am concerned, Kubota is one of the best compact tractors you can buy. John Deere is decent, ford and Massey ferguson are okay, but I think kubota is the best, but that is my opinion. I also thin Land Pride is one of the best mowers you can buy. that may be biased, but I feel that is the better than any ohter, and I feel that more strongly than a kubota is better than a deer. A woods mower is good as well, I have a RM 59. But I think it and land pride are both very good mowers, but land pride parts are cheaper. Friend, I think you gottta good deal. Some may argue, but in the four years I have worked at the dealer, yes mostly kubota's come in because they are a kubota dealer, but I have seen a few deeres, fergusons's and others, and I think the kubota is the best for utility work. If you get into real heavy work, I may think different though. Good luck!
