I would start by putting it in 4wd lock and jacking the front end up. Check to see if you can turn the front drive shaft by hand. If you can, the problem is in the transfer case. If you can't, lock the hubs in (manual hubs?) and see if you can turn each front wheel. If you have automatic hubs I have no idea how to check them. If I had to check a pair of auto hubs I would do it by throwing them away and buying manual hubs! Remember that if one hub doesn't engage, the front axle will differentiate and only the non-loaded axle will spin......2WD Good luck, Ken
