Around here (NE wisconsin) Olivers are somewhat rare, and a little bit more costly. A good 1855 will still go for $7-10 grand, depending on it's condition. Massey's are a little bit cheaper, around 5-8 grand for the same hp rating. Both are good for me because those are my 2 brands. My ollie and plow work great, and my massey's work great for the haying operations. The deere's are so expensive, because that's the big name brand and they cost so much more to repair when they are down. Olivers may be old, but parts are still relatively cheap and easy to fix.
