Farming was rated the most dangerous occupation in the U.S.A some years ago. Career farmers know this and most act accordingly. It seems to be the hobby farmers that are ignorant of the dangers. Ten years ago a brilliant stomach doctor here was mowing his acreage and rolled his tractor into the sideditch in front of his house and died- driving a new JD with ROPS. The best operator protection known is self-education and forethought.
