Saw some horse-drawn equipement (plows, wheat drill, etc.) sale at an auction in East Tennessee a couple of years ago. They brought only amounts like $25. And they had been stored in a shed for years. Seems like the drill even had some original paint on it. But they had waited until the end of an all day estate sale and a lot of people had already gone home. There were no plows like you described, though.
