Are you sure this system worked perfect for the first 20 minutes or so as you say? It seems real hard to imagine the system hooked up correctly and working fine then all of a sudden screw up????? Doesn`t make sense. What was the oil level when you started? correct or high? Are you certain you are not sucking air from a fitting? Your cap should allow air to go both ways, out as the oil gets hot and expands then allow air in as it cools down. I would check the filter or screen. Does the pump make a howling noise like a pack of Coyotes on their evening hunting outing when you use a function? And yes, the response about the trip to the emergency room if any oil gets into your skin is correct. Hydraulic oil will cause many problems just being on your skin for any length of time. We had a grease man who lost both his feet from hydraulic oil. He got soaked first thing in the orning and didn`t bother to change socks, boots or anything. The skin fell off his feet and eventually wouldn`t grow back and he lost them both.
