Our borough council is run by a bunch of old boys who seem to think they are a homeowners association. No signs, no grass over 2-1/2", no unregistered vehicles, no Jake brakes, no "clutter", no parking here, there, anywhere... (Sometines I just can't help but wonder..."what's next?" no farting? no snoring? no hanging fat people's underwear out on the line?) This isn't a yuppieville either, it USED to be a company town, a coal town, its still mostlymiddle class. Most of the assinine and restrictive ordinances have come in the last 10 years or so. And they may have made sense at the time, but the way they now get twisted to allow certain council members to feud with their neighbors (while hiding behind the law) does not. Vote 'em out you say? Seems no one else wants the job. The ones who might make good council people seem to move away just as soon as they can.
