Manlius can't hold a candle to Greece, NY. Here, you need to install a sprinkler system to open any commercial operation, even if it is in an existing building that was previously used for the same purpose. Don't think you're safe at home, you MUST get a plumbing permit to replace your water heater. The Town has an agreement with Sears, Chase Pitkin, and Home Depo to report any water heater sales to town residents, especially warranty replacements. In most of the County you have to hang a business permit on the wall. In Greece, you have to build an extra wall to hold all the permits. Now, they have a law on lawn mowing, parking, loud music, block partys, drainage, RV parking, Boat length in the driveway, and farting in Town Parks. You must install a sidewalk if you build a new house, even if there isn't another sidewalk for 1500 feet, and it's farmland on both sides of you. These a$$wipes even zoned farming out of existance. They got a big surprize on that one when they found out about State Right To Farm laws, and how nasty them State boys are.
