I'm sorry to hear your Father is gone, we will all miss him. True gentlemen are rare, he was even nice as he corrected my error in some tractor production numbers. I'm regretting now not going south when I had the chance to follow-up on some tractors he had located, I wanted to meet him in person. At the " Gathering of the Green" next month we should have a moment of silence to remember your father. And also to reflect on how our own loved ones could be taken at any moment, we should appreciate them now before it's too late.

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
