Seabee, First, make sure everything is working properly on your p/u and trailor. Tags, lites, safety chains, hitch and ball is tight, tires(includeing spare) are in good shape, insurance card... On your trip back just make sure the tractor is properly secured BY HEAVY CHAINS AND BINDERS!!!! No ropes. Minimum one in the front of the tractor pulling forward and one in the rear of the tractor pulling backwards, against the first chain. Kinda like this....___/oTractorO\___ if this makes any since. I would run one over the transmission for extra security if you are worried about it. Use binders and get the chains really tight, like squish the tires, banjo string tight. If you could pick up the rig and turn it upside down and shake it and the tractor not fall off then it is properly secured. Don't get in a hurry returning home either. Remember, its not how much you can haul but how much you can STOP!!! Just stay in the right lane and easy on home and you should be ok. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call or Email Donald M. Cosper Cosper Tractor and Implement Burleson, Texas 817-478-6116CozInCowtown@aol.com
