Believe it or not , the first thing I look at is the radiator. Does it appear original , no damaged fins and air passages clear of dirt build up? To me , a clogged , damaged rad is a dead give-away to poor maintenance and thus a good indication of further hidden problems. Hours are the last thing to condider.
