U-Pick Ready for action! (with pic)

As some of you know, last yr's effort was a complete failure. Late planting as to wet, summer drought followed by heavy rains that drowned everything. As you can see, ol' man winter is slowly sneaking away making room for spring. Here's a pic of the field. It is just begging to be planted! Keeping my fingers crossed. Only regret is I wish I had my "4340" plow here in FL to work this. Still sitting in SC. This yrs. plan to is plant corn, okra, squash, peppers, zipper cream peas. Thinking hard about some watermelon and punkins. For personal use I have already planted some Red Pontiac spuds and when ready will plant some Manalucie hierloom tomatoes and onions. If it doesn't work this yr. then this winter it may well become all pines. Can post pine pics if anyone interested - must say pine pics are rather boring.
