My Dad started me too young and on too large a tractor. I had accidents and near accidents. I stared my Son on a Compact Tractor ,Yanmar 155D,
15 Hp diesel at age six. I bought a slip scoop and he moves dirt and manure with it and has a ball. I took the hand throtle off and he uses the
foot pedal to increase the RPM. It returns to idle
if he takes his foot off the pedal. Spend time
with your son, love him, and enjoy him. The memories will live forever. Good luck.
