Check the hauling schedule folks over on the left side of this page, under "community". But if it was in running condition, I think it would be fun to just drive it home. Looks like it's going to be about 400 miles, a nice one day trip. I drove my '50 Ford F-6 home when I bought it. I only had 75 miles to go, but it was thru the yuppiest part of the Seattle area, and probably had more hills to contend with than you would experience in your drive. Just make sure you have a few necessities, including a gas can, large fire extinguisher, a case of motor oil, brake fluid and a couple rolls of duct tape and some wire. If it isn't running, good luck with it. Old trucks are as much fun as old tractors. What model? Mine's an F-6, vacuum assisted brakes, vacuum 2-spd rear axle, no PTO, and a transplanted 292 V-8 to replace the flathead V-8 it came with.
