The IHC 2-point systems I am familiar with have down pressure, and are a different critter than regular 3-point systems that can 'float' upwards to max height. I'm sure the above messages point out the dangers of this situation with a 3-point, as when going downhill with a load behind you. On the other hand, the 3-point drawbar I have gets used more than the regular drawbar. It is very handy for sideraking & such jobs where I can raise & lower the siderake with the 3-point. I have also pulled 180 bushel gravity boxes with it on my hilly ground, but this is _dangerous_ to do and you must keep the drawbar low and all that. Also have pulled 10' disks, an many many hours of harrowing (draging) with it. I should point out that my 'drawbar' is not just the cross bar with the holes in it, but is a real swinging drawbar that fits on the 3-point arms. I believe it was made for the N series, but dad modified it to fit the bigger lift arms of the 960. --->Paul

In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
