When I turned 18 I joined the Army to go to Vietnam just like my Brother and Father did. Their was no way I wasn't going to come back. Allot did not come back alive. Don't stop your son from joining and doing his duty for the fear of dieing that could happen in a car wreck. It would be good for him to serve his country and later in life he could be proud of what he did for his country! We need good men to defend it and he would have earned his right to hold his head high when he comes back. I joined when the draft was still in effect. Mark H.
