Buy beef calves in the spring, sell them in the fall. The number you need will be determined by local prices. They'll do fine on grass. You will need perimeter fence (electric is the least expensive and fast to put up), a water trough and a salt block. A corral for roundup and loading in the fall. You can also divide the 10 acres into paddocks and practice rotational grazing.
