There should be a tin plate on the tractor's left side with the serial number but it's obviously missing. The number is also hand stamped into the upper surface of the transmission/differential housing between the cast iron shifting platform and the steel plate that bolts down over the differential gears. Those numbers are on the machined surface and are on the left (foot clutch) side of the tractor, not too far from the vicinity of the clutch pedal area. You'll have to do some scraping and brushing to find those numbers, they're probably filled with paint or rust. Underneath the tranny is the date that that casting was poured, those are cast-in number dates, not stamped. That isn't necessarily the year the tractor was made, just when that casting was poured (but it will be the same or at least close). Once you find the serial number, post it here and someone will ID the year for you. Good luck.
