Hi All, Please forgive my most unusal post but I need help and my Doctors can't help me. Please do not reply to this post on the board but reply to my e-mail as I don't want to clutter up the board with a post that doesn't belong here!!! But I'm getting desperate so please bear with me! In June 2001 the wife and I came up with boils on our genital area, both of us at the same time, and they won't go away. The wife never had a boil before but I've had a few over the years in different places but usually not in the same place. The wife is some what responding to antibotics where I'm not responding too well. What did we change in June 2001? We were drinking water from lakes and streams that we have doing for the past 40yrs without problems but not from these pictular water sources. Ate trout from lakes but again never from these lakes. And washed cloths in a laundry mat. The Doctors think this has nothing to do with our problems! My boils started out on the side of my scrotum sack, poped like a normal boil does but came back larger each time after 3 weeks and repeated this process every 3weeks until I went in the hospital in November 2001 for 8days of IV antibotics. At that time my scrotum was as big as your fist on both sides and the infection dropped into my peneis. The IV was Primaxium 100mg 3x day. That knocked the infection down but didn't take it away. They ran all kinds of cultures that showed common bacteria, inside my cell wall (thats the bad part), along with a Catscan and a Ultrasonic being negitive. I've tried Augementin 850mg 2x/day and became resistant to the anitbotic. Next the Doc tried Ceftin 500mg 2x/day and I had very little response. I'm now on Levaquin 500mg 1x/day and it somewhat controls the infection but no shows progress to taking the infection away. The Doctors that I've seen, Internal Medicine, 2)Urologists, and a Infectous Disease doc. None of them can tell what the infection is nor how we got it. I seen a Urologist Surgeon yesterday and his fix is to start cutting meat until he does not run into any more infection. And he says that the infection may come back. This treament is not an opiton as I would just as soon die than to be left with a bag(s). I have other medical problems that makes this decision easy. Please I don't need symaphy but do need suggestions of what alternitive to try. If you recomend a Doctor, Please give me there name and telephone number and I don't care where there it's at. Have a different home remedy to try, send it e-mail. All suggestions are welcome! Again, Sorry for the long off topic post but farmers and other specialists have great ideas. T_Bone

On the Road with Dave Gohl: Auction Musings - by Dave Gohl. I was thinking the other day about all the auctions I've been to in the last few years. There've been many. Some have been very good, some have been well, disappointing to say the least. But no matter how good or bad auctions may be, we always seem to stay until the item we've come for or are interested in is on the block. I've been to some auctions near and far. I think the furthest has been the Two Cylinder 7 in the Amana Colonies last year. Lots of stuff, lots of people. I've also atten
