I have a 970 J.D. that has power steering, burns very littie diesel, and is very easy to operate,also you can get it in what we call "close places" where you can't with larger machines. The only problem that I have found is there is more H.P. than weight, as you can hang dirt box or turning plow on a stump root and the motor will not stall but the front end will raise up in the air, even with the factory weights on it.
