You might have messed up your voltage regulator if you did something wrong. Ask you dealer if you can try another one, and if it works, pay him, if it's not that, give it back. Them things are like $30-$40 bucks I think. There is a way to check for charging by doing something to the field? post on your voltage regulator that will tell you if you regulator is bad. You ground it there and if it charges, you have a bad regulator, but I am not sure at all how this is done, maybe someone can clarify for you. The other thing, are all your conections everywhere clean? I have a super C that charged poorly even after a new voltage reg, even though the connections looked clean to me. I took them off one by one and cleaned them w/a wire brush, put back together, and it charges like brand new.
