Ryan, I have three vintage tractors of my own and, like you, had relatively no knowledge of them until I began the restoration of my first Ferguson TED20 two years ago. Now I have completed it, another Ferguson TED20 followed and I am currently working on a 1957 Ferguson FE35. I found the most usefull source of information was the magazine "Tractor and Machinery", which is monthly, coming out on the 16th of each month I think. It's always got plenty of technical information, rally reports and pictures which would help in your identification. I really enjoy my hobby and hope to continue so, I'm currently looking for a narrow vineyard Ferguson to restore. I placed a wanted add in "Tractor and Machinery" and am following up the few responses I got. Good Luck.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
