I didn't bother reading the rest of the replies you got yet. Being a yuppie & investment guy is ok around here, but talking about a Japaneese tractor on this forum, oh my! You have a lot to learn!!!!! :) Just kidding you. :) If it were me, I would be looking for an International 1066 or 986 or there abouts, and have a real tractor for the rather heafty chores you are looking at. These tractors are pretty big for the orchard work perhaps, but a 30-40 hp compact is pretty small for the rest of your jobs! The tractors I'm talking about, with a loader, sell for $8000 - $12000 around here, in good shape, with a loader. That is a lot less than a new compact that is quite light for some of your jobs. You could do a complete tranny & engine overhaul & still come out spending less money on a 80 - 140 hp tractor that will get some work done for you. If ya don't like it, you can sell it for what you paid for it - these things are already depreciated down to their lowest value. Just my opinion, I wish you well, and welcome around these parts. :) --->Paul
