Well the guy said he was debating between the two, so that is what I responded to, his question. If he had asked about what farm tractor to buy, I would have made a reccommendation. Kubota makes tractors over 100 horsepower, so they do make a decent sized tractor. I would reccommend to him a Case IH, but they don't make anything under 50 horsepower, a Deere or New Holland or Massey would be fine too. Them brands you talk of don't seem to exist over here in the states, and even if he could get one, it would probably take him 6 months to get a part for it, much less try to find someone to work on it if need be. I don't think you should speak bad about a Kubota or Kioti because they are good tractors. AS for other asian brands, I think they are junk, but I don't think you should clump all asian tractors together, because there are definite differences. He was speaking of getting a new tractor, not a used one, and he said he was looking for a compact, not a farm tractor.
