find an old dragline that operates, look it over good, test it, and buy it. put it on the site and whenver you get a couple spare hours, go dig. but first push back all that valuable top soil, for sale or landscaping. Remember, a sand pit can be hundreds of feet deep and not hold a drop of water.. if you dont have clay, you wont have a pond anytiume soon. if you dig into some nice clay, and get moving along, and hit sand, stop, and dump the clay back or it will again not hold water. When your done sell the dragline to the next hopeful, for same price plus any new parts replaced, and someday we will all have nice ponds.
