My dad has a 99 Chev 3/4 ton pick up with the 6.5 turbo. Has over 100k on it and it still pulls real well. He had some problems with the injector pump in the past. I think GM replaced two under warranty. His truck had a 110k warranty on the motor with a $100 deductible. Since he retired, he pulls a 31' fifth wheel camper (with three slide outs) with it. Don't know what the rig weighs but suffice it to say "pleanty". He just got back to MO from Texas with no problems. Forgot to mention that he tags a 18' bass boat on behind the camper. The truck still has pleanty of guts to pull that load. He calls it a good day traveling if he can go fast enough not to get honked at or given the finger. Neither happened this time. Bottom line is, treat it right and it will be good to you. Abuse it and it won't.

I’m par
