i grew up on one of those things. i agree check the bushings, other wise put your left foot on the steering arm and push hard and hold the steering wheel while in high gear ,won't cure it but it helps to keep from shimying. we cured the problem,traded it on a case 300 round grill, what a step up in the world. george

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
