If you have a nice job making good money and your time is all used up doing other things I would think it is allright to pay more. I am restoring a 9N and it is a lot of work! My hands are all beat up now but I am used to that. Some peoples hands are realy clean looking and need to stay that way for their job. If I could afford to pay someone to do alot of the work I would. But in my case this is how I make a living working on tractors. When I sell it I hope to make a profet for my time. I have a lot invested in the shop and equipment to do this with. If you don't have the tools to do it you have to weight that also and your time into the cost of one. So you get what you pay for. A nice tractor is worth the money and a junker is not. It is a choice and there is a lot of hidden costs that can pop up when you do it yourself. Mark H.
