I agree with you Les, it is possible to pay way too much when you consider what the market value of a big piece of metal is these days. on the other hand, the way people feel about tractors and how they bring them enjoyment and bring back good memories they become far more valuable. it is hard to place a price on the feeling you get when you start your own tractor up or bring one back from the scrap heap. in case you were wondering, i paid "too much" for my first tractor but with all of the fun i have had with it and the time i have spent with my dad working on it, i don't feel like i paid one penny too much! i guess it does make a lot of difference though whether or not you just have it for fun like i do or if you need it to make you money so you can feed your kids. jeff
