Just a few observations which don't answer your question. I grew up with a sawmill - operated by/ and trained by my father. i second the comment that sawing is an ART. The old guy who hammered our saws would look at the blade - hit it a few times - and then it sawed straight. You'll need 35 to 40 hp on that mill if it's running well. It's also the most dangerous legal hobby you can get into. The guy who sold my Dad our mill finally had cut off all his fingers - couldn't operate it any longer. Don't try to learn this on your own - spend some time working at somebody's mill - even on your own time. it'll be cheaper than a fune
