I am going with the flow here. Bite the bullet and pour the whole thing. I don't think you will ever be happy with a partial pour. I put up a 30'x40' two years ago. Had extra steel and extra concrete poured in perimeter beams and crossing beams. Got a good level floor that is unlikely to ever crack. Painted the floor with garage floor paint to make it easier to clean and to keep the dust down. Concrete makes it's own dust. I park my tractor in one end. It also makes it easier to clean from whatever the tractor drags in.
