I have aGibson-D my father purchased new in 194? He is now gone but as a child I remember him saying he purchased during W.W.2. all the research I've done indicates 1948 is more acurate. The rear end has both Gibson,Longmont Co, and Gibson, Seattle Wa. cast onthe top of it.It has a one cyl Wisconsin model AHH engine, crank start, not pull start. Can anyone help me identify the actual year it was manufactured? P.S. it still operates great and is used for light duties.
