Ron, You don't say if the tractor is Hydrostatic or gear drive or gear drive with TA. The shipping weight of a International 544 gasoline Hydrostatic is 5001 lbs. The shipping weight of a International 544 gasoline gear drive with TA is 5326 lbs. The International 2544 is the industrial version of the International and is basicly the same with the following exceptions. Both the I 544 and I 2544 were available in hydrostatic drive or gear drive or gear drive with TA. The I 2544 also had a manual shuttle transmission available. The I 2544 had a different grill and a heavy duty front axle as standard. The adjustable front axle of the I 544 was optional on the I 2544. IPTO and 3 point hitch were standard on the I 544 while they were both optional on the I 2544. The I 544 had a 12 gpm hydraulic pump standard with a 17 gpm optional. I believe the 17 gpm pump was standard on the I 2544 but I am not sure. The I 2544 had a front pto coupling standard which could mount a external pump for a backhoe. The I 2544 also came standard with I-1 multi rib front tires and R-3 industrial type rear tires (roadgrader type tread) with R-4 (diamond tread) optional. The Nebraska test for a gasoline hydrostatic 544 was test 1007 at 42.00 db hp and 53.87 pto hp. The test for the gear driven 544 was test number 984 at 45.51 db hp and 52.84 pto hp. The above hp would also apply to the 2544. The engine is a 3 13/16 x 4.390 200.3 cu in 4 cyl International engine.I don't know the exact weight of the front loader but I would guess it would add about 1000 pounds to your tractor. Also add for any weights or liquid you may have on the tractor ou in the tires. This combination makes a very good loader tractor. For dirt moving you will liquid in the rear tires and or a rear counterweight. A heavy duty box scraper with scarifier teeth on the three point hitch and liquid in the rear tires wiould make an excellent dirt moving and smoothing tractor. If it has Hydrostatic drive it is especially convinent for shuttle loading. Just as a point of information, the 544 was available in a total of 10 versions as follows; Farmall 544 gear drive, Farmall 544 hydrostatic drive, Farmall 544 High Clear gear drive, Farmall 544 High clear hydrostatic drive, International 544 gear drive, International 544 hydrostatic drive, International 544 Row Crop gear drive, International 544 Row Crop hydrostatic drive, International 2544 gear drive, and International 2544 hydrostatic drive. I believe your only question I have not answered is price. This depends on location. Check around in your area and see what other tractors of a simular hp and condition have sold for or e-mail me and I'll at least tell you if it sounds in the ball park or too high. Hope this helps you to make your decision. The 544/2544 is a very good tractor. Harold H
