ago, we repeat. A D4C would be pre-1963, when 65
HP D4D's were out. A Cat D4 will easily pull a
12' disc, You want 18" pads, with no cab on these
older D4's, expect to eat a lot of dust and wear
goggles. The undercarriage comment well taken, no
cheap rebuilt on these wear parts. I would prefer
to buy the best value in used wheel tractors, a
short-money White with PFA(2-85,2-105). These
models will play with a regular 12' disc, run
well, remain auction bargins. Good luck.
