I have also seen this terrible type of accident. Twice !! Recently a fellow farmer was driving on his dirt road from one feild to another, a car with 2 teens driving, never saw him. Ran into the rear of the tractor going about 50 MPH. Killed one teen, no harm to the farmer. About 3 years back a truck going 60 MPH plowed into the back of a tractor going down a two lane road. Severe injury to the operator and minor to the truck driver. When driving farm equipment dont think people will assume your not going 80 MPH, because they will not slow down until it is to late. They think if your on the road you to are driving 80. No matter what your on, lawn mower, tractor, golf cart, ETC...... Please use great caution when traveling on paved roads as well as dirt. People are not expecting slow moving vehicles, when they do see you they dont realize how slow your going compared to them, and dont have tome to adjust. Please take every precaation you can. Flashing lights, car following, Etc......
