Back in the 50's when I was 16 I had a unstyled WC Allis. My 2 younger brothers borrowed it to go camping back in the woods about 2 miles. Well they walked back and told me it was stuck. When I got there, I found they had gone across a creek bed that had a very spongy bank and had sunk the rear wheels into the axle. One of our neighbors had a Ford 8N and he drove back there to pull it out. Somehow another neighbor heard about it while he was having a picnic with about 30 people (it seemed like) They all hiked back to this creek to see what the crazy Fullmer boys had got into. I was embarrassed no end that a Ford had to pull me out and all those people saw it. Needless to say, my brothers weren't in my good graces for quite a while.
