is j b weld suitable for using to repair a tiny crack in an oil pan(gas engine-V-8)? i made the repair from the inside. will the hot oil have any affect on the j. b. weld?it went on great, and it looks good. the crack could not be seen, it was a seeping thing. the oil pan was not corroded at all-it is a steel oil pan. will the hot oil remove the j. b. weld from the inside of the oil pan? also, could j. b. weld be used on aluminum? i've used it on a number of things, and it's really remarkable stuff. thank-you, and i hope you can answer my questions. sincerely, spencer harding
