Well 10 acres isn't much so you can get by with less tractor than someone who will be dealing with hundreds of acres. I would say, even though it is less hp. than recomended that you could bale with a 20-25hp tractor. Allis B, C, CA , If you wanted a lagger tractor a WD, or WD45 (Can you tell I am an orange guy?), would be more than enough. Especially if you are not in really hilly area a 20-25 hp tractor would do it, it isn't too hard to pull a small baler in flat or gently rolling land. The engine on non pto balers is sometimes a 2 cylinder Wisconsin, so it doesn't take too much to run a blaler. Of course if your baler has an engine of it's own, a 15 or 20 hp tractor will do.
