Thank you fellas for your quick assistance! Burrhead your responce was the one I had come up with. "According to my book it's a 1954 Massey Ferguson 30. " I beleive this to be true. However, I am currently posting pictures of my tractor on my website avdavey.com. For those that would help to confirm my belief please check it out under the bubbles on the left side of the screen first click "About us" then click "people pages" then click " Davey " then click "Davey tractor". Thanks to all for your suggestions!

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
