I have a Jacobson Chief 1000 garden tractor with a hydrostatic transmission. I'm trying to determine and locate the proper type of transmission fluid to use. I understand the hydrostatic differential uses 90 wt oil but can't cross reference the two different types of transmission fluid it originally called for. The two options noted in the manual are;

Sunray DX Altran 100 type fluid No. 30216, or
International Harvester All-Weather Hy-tran Fluid, No. 372 705 R4, or exact equivalent.

I cannot seem to find anyone that can cross-reference these two types originally called for.

Can you help or direct me to someone else that may be able to advise me on what type of replacement transmission fluid would be safe to use in this tractor?
