They are hard to find and are not cheap but I have run a Roof mower for about 30 years. I got new one with a 6 hp engine and fishing line out front and 2 big 20-inch tires. It is a push mower that has forward and reverse gears. Plus you can do all your weed eating in one pass. It looks strange but you can go up and down the ditches, get around anything and cut through anything... Hard to find but made in America by Americans... Everything is solid they never wear out with the line out front they will cut anything. About 30 years ago my dad bought the big one with 8 hp engine and 26 inch open blade out front. We used to cut trees down with it (2 inch or less) I am sure I'll be mowing with the one I got 2 years ago 20 years from now.

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
