They are fabulous cars if they've had proper care and maintenance. The car made 190hp net if it was bolted to a 5-speed; it made 150 hp net if it was bolted to the slushbox. The 1987 model Turbo Coupe won Motor Trend's Car of the Year award(it's the same as the '88). I understand that 120,000 miles is about the practical life of the turbo IF it hasn't been abused. The car has programmed ride control, aka "electronic shocks"(fabulous in their own right), and when they finally wear out they cost about $600 each just in parts to replace(former owner told me that). I've wanted one ever since Ford came out with that restyled body in '87. I still think it's one of the best-looking 'Birds Ford ever built. If the owner has the maintenance records, go over them thoroughly. Low-mileage Turbo Coupes are very difficult to find. Goodyear tire testing showed it to have a top speed of 143mph bone-stock. My brother used to know one kid whose '88 Turbo Coupe topped out at 172mph, though ... he had all the good stuff like a racing clutch, graphite valves, experimental cam, bigger turbo/intercooler, beefed-up gearbox and rear axle ... of course, when your uncle is Jack Roush, you can get that sort of thing(no joking!). It still had the original block and crank, too. The four-banger will reallly make the power if it's massaged correctly. That kid outran the cops on the interstate so often that the cops literally gave up trying to catch him. He wasn't reckless with it, either.

The golden corn ripens well and early, the stoking, stacking,.... the drawing in with the tractors and trailers and a few buck rakes thrown in, and possibly a heavy horse. It would be a great day for the collies and the terrier dogs, rats and mice would be at the bottom of the stacks so the dogs, would have a busy time hunting and killing, all the corn was gathered and ricked in what we c
