Pedal free play for a SuperC should be 1-7/16". My own method for what it's worth-- Being close enough to an inch and a half, I start by wedging a piece of 2x4 the short way between the pedal and the edge of the deck, and then start adjusting. The adjustment is as easy as it sounds, but you may have some difficulty getting the pin out so you can turn the clevis at the end of the rod coming from the pedal. If it hasn't been touched in years, the pin will probably have some grooves worn into it that make it tough to get out, especially if the head is on the outside, with the cotter pin to the inside. If you have trouble with it, I have had success using a chisel tapped LIGHTLY between the head of the pin and the clevis to get it started, before I block the pedal (to lessen the tension on the link). If the head of the pin is to the inside, you should be able to just tap it through. Make your final adjustment without the block. JSut remember the pin will move easiest when there is as little tension as possible on the linkake. Hope this helps! Scotty

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
