Hi Ben, welcome to AC. You are right the D14 was built in 1957 for several years. Your serial number is on the left rear corner of the motor to bellhousing joint. Starts with D14xxxx. A 14 would have a hard time pulling 3 bottoms unless it was in light soil and small bottoms. I think the D14 was a replacement for the CA which was in the 25-27 HP range as you were told. I would repost your question on the Allis forum. Click on the box at the bottom or top of the last page and go to that forum. Lots of D series guys there that would like to talk and help you more.
