Something like that running 'here' goes $3000 - 4000. It's sitting in the weeds for a reason - figure on spending $1000 to fix whatever is broke. Another $500 to make up for the sitting 5 years, that takes it's toll on seals & rubber parts & gauges & electrical. Then there is the backhoe - bet that needs lots of seals, pins (what looks like a 'little' give on the pins can be $500 to fix right & make useable...), in addition to the cylinder. To get it & the loader & the pump in condition will probably run $1000.

That would leave an offer of $500 seem about right.

Sounds like a fun project. If things end up not being that bad, you got a steal. If they are at least that bad, & it takes you lots of time (which is $$$), hopefully you had some fun. :)
